SYTECH Digital Forensics is delighted to announce official UKAS ratification for our latest extensions to scope in our accreditation portfolio, which now includes, Forensic Science Regulators (FSR) Codes of Practice and Conduct (‘Codes’) accreditation across all locations of our multi-site organisation.

Following successful UKAS assessment (Oct 2019) SYTECH have been awarded ISO17025(2017) accreditation for our Newport and Llanelli offices.

These extensions to scope aligned all five SYTECH locations with the relevant ISO17025(2017) laboratory accreditations, which is a pre-requisite for FSR Codes accreditation for multi-site organisations.

In addition, SYTECH is pleased to announce that it has attained official FSR Codes of Practice and Conduct accreditation following UKAS assessment of criteria across all our sites and operations.

SYTECH’s full scope of accreditation can be accessed via the UKAS website.

In other accreditation news, SYTECH has just completed (Feb 2020) a four-year re-certification assessment for ISO17025(2017) accreditation at our three locations in Stoke-on-Trent (x2) and Warwickshire.

The assessment process resulted in positive recommendations for re-certification from all UKAS assessors.   The exercise attracted specific praise in areas of, Method Validation, Training and Competency and Auditing and highlighted the embedded developments within the Quality Management and Quality Assurance systems at SYTECH Digital Forensics.

SYTECH would like to thank, all our clients for the continuous support and understanding that has been received during our accreditation journey.

Further to the above, SYTECH are now offering advice and support to any entity seeking to attain and/or maintain the accreditations vital to digital forensics and the criminal justice process.  This includes guidance on how to maximize the benefits that accreditation can achieve.
